July 2-5, Prof. Sanjay Garg from School of Medicine and Pharmacy of University of South Australia visited School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Dean, Prof.Wang Fengshan, and Vice Dean Liu Xinyong, received the guest.

On the morning of July 3, Professor Garg gave an academic report of his research and introduction to the School of Medicine and Pharmacy of University of South Australia. After the report, the teachers and students present asked questions, and Prof. Sanjay Garg gave the answer patiently.

After the report, Sanjay Garg attended the discussion of the Pharm. D cooperation, and talk with the professors of Shandong University, in the field of medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutics.

During the visit, Prof. Garg also visited the Department of Pharmacy of Qianfo Hospital in Jinan, and talked to the director of the clinical pharmacist training base. The two parts discussed the short-term exchange of clinical pharmacists in the hospitals of Shandong and South Australia.

Prof. Sanjay Garg is a pharmaceutical scientist with passion for research and teaching in translational preclinical and clinical drug development, conventional and novel drug delivery, analysis, regulatory affairs, and health policy. He has taken the responsibility for Australia China Health Science Centre in Shandong University as a Co-Director.
