二、研究领域
1.中药饮片炮制工艺及其炮制机理研究
中药必须经过炮制才能入药，炮制是传统中药制药技术，也是保障中药安全有效的关键环节。本研究主要通过对比炮制前后化学成分和药理活性变化，揭示传统炮制工艺的科学性和合理性，为提高中药饮片质量、开发新的炮制工艺奠定基础。
2.中药材产地加工工艺及其加工机理研究
新收获中药材需要产地加工，产地加工技术显著影响药材质量。本研究主要探讨产地加工工艺对药材质量的影响，为提高药材质量奠定基础。
3.中药新药和保健食品的研究与开发
根据市场需要，研究和开发现代中药新药和保健食品。
三、工作及学习经历
1987年于山东师范大学生物系获学士学位；
1990年于山东师范大学生物系获硕士学位；
1990.07-2000.07于原山东医科大学药学院工作；
2000.07-至今于山东大学药学院工作
（2002.06于北京大学药学院获博士学位，2005.12-2009.6于山东大学药学院开展博士后研究，2014.07晋升教授）。
四、教学工作
主要承担药学专业本科生《药用植物学》和《生药学》，以及研究生《现代中药新药研究与开发》的教学工作。
